Privacy Policy

Arukeys ("the App") is an iOS application provided by Novasys LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). We take the protection of users' personal information seriously and establish this Privacy Policy as set out below.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects the following information.

Precise location: Used to record your walking route during a walk and to generate areas (polygons). Location is also collected in the background.
Email address: Obtained at account creation and sign-in, through email authentication or Apple/Google account linking.
User ID: A unique ID generated at authentication in order to sync your data (town, inventory, etc.) with the server.

2. Purposes of Use

Providing the App's functionality (recording walking routes, generating areas, town-building)
Account management and data synchronization
Improving the App and addressing defects

3. Provision to Third Parties

We use the following services to process data.

Supabase (authentication and data sync): Stores your user ID, email address, and town data in the cloud.
Google Sign-In (authentication): When you sign in with a Google account, communication with Google's authentication servers takes place.
Apple Sign In (authentication): When you sign in with an Apple account, communication with Apple's authentication servers takes place.

We do not provide personal information to any third party other than those listed above, except as required by law.

4. Data Retention

Location data (walking routes): Stored on your device. If server sync is enabled, it is also stored in the cloud in encrypted form.
Account information: Retained until you delete your account.
Upon account deletion: All data on the server is deleted.

5. Your Rights

Data export: You can export all of your data from the in-app menu.
Account deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from the in-app menu.
Stopping location use: You can revoke location permission at any time from iOS Settings.

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal information. Communications are protected by TLS encryption.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes

This Policy may be updated as necessary. If there are significant changes, we will notify you within the App.
